Lynn & I have to leave SICU while the nurses have their change of shift and the doctors make their rounds. We can be in her room round the clock except for the hour and a half from 7-8:30 morning and night.
While we were here in the waiting room this morning, the housekeeper came in. Every time we see the housekeeper Lynn expresses his gratitude for all her work. This morning I watched as he helped her pick up and clean the waiting room.
As we knelt together in prayer today. He offered a prayer if gratitude. And simply asked that the Lord's will be done.
I am in amazement that as he is facing this time of stress and worry, he still serves those around him and offers gratitude at every turn.
