A New Visitor

There is a sign in the hall before you get to ICU that says that all visitors must be 14 years of age in order to enter. Our boys have been very patient as we have come and gone in order to be with Grandma but they also ask, almost daily, when she will be well enough for them to go and see her.

Well, Grandpa has become quite close to the staff and they told him that it would be okay to have a visitor as long as they were 12 years old. Our oldest son, Ayden, just turned twelve a month ago. I think Grandpa was just as excited to tell Ayden he could come and visit as Ayden was to go. So on Monday he got to head to the hospital to see Grandma and she was pretty happy to see him... Mark reported that Ayden got the biggest smile from Grandma when he walked in.
