The exciting news from yesterday was that they were trying really hard to get a new room for Elaine. She is all clear to leave ICU and move up to the 4th floor but they don't have enough room for her yet. Everyone thought yesterday was the day so we'll keep our fingers crossed that maybe it will happen today. The ICU is not an environment that is conducive to good sleep. A space that is quieter and more private would be a wonderful change for Elaine.
She didn't need dialysis yesterday and won't need it again today.
There isn't a lot more to report for now. I will keep you posted with any new information.

Hooray! We will be praying that a room opens up soon. Congrats on being ready to leave the ICU, Aunt Elaine. We love you!
