The best part of updates now is that I get to write what SHE says instead of just what the doctor says. Yahoo!!
This afternoon, the nurse was talking to herself while looking at some of Elaine's lab results and asked out loud, "Why is this positive?" Elaine replied, "Because we are positive people. "
It is so nice to see all these pumps and machines leave the room. However, it is hard for her to see all the improvement she is making. She is disappointed that things aren't moving along faster. It's frustrating for her when she can't move her arm or when it exhausts her to simply sit for a few minutes.
Elaine and I were talking today about all the people who are praying for her. She was so moved by the thought of the concern that everyone had. She asked me to tell you all, thank you. On behalf of the family, we say thank you as well.
I think if we all remain positive people, she'll be home before we know it.
We want to thank you for this blog. We are so grateful that we have been able to keep up with Elaine's progress on a regular basis. We are also very grateful that Elaine continues to improve. Our thoughts and prayers continue in Elaine's behalf as well as her whole family. We love all of you.
