These past few weeks have been such a roller coaster ride. We've had so many highs and lows. We were so excited to have her finally leave SICU yesterday but as Mark put it today, "she's had a bit of a rough go of it".
This morning Brenda let us know that Elaine hasn't felt very good yesterday or today. Lots of nausea. They did dialysis this morning hoping that would help her feel better. The kidney team came in. They wondered if the toxins that the kidneys normally clear are causing her to feel sick. They hoped dialysis would let them know if that's the issue.
Then Mark texted this tonight:
There have been some stomach problems that they are worried about. They took her down x-ray but still are not sure about one area of her stomach. They are going to do a CT scan later tonight. They feel like this will provide more conclusiveness.
We are hoping & praying they can soon figure out what is going on with her body. We still need many prayers. Thank you for all your love and support. We feel it. We really do. Thank you.
