The struggles of the last two days have had to do with Elaine's tummy. She has been feeling some nausea and stomach discomfort so they try to keep her as regular as possible in order to keep her comfortable. Sadly, those remedies have been causing even more discomfort. Last night they decided to do a CT scan in order to know how to move forward. They determined that everything looked good and decided they should let her body process things naturally. Lynn was confident in the way they should go, even before the scan, but they just needed to come to the decision in their own way.
Today seems to be better already. She has been up this morning and sitting in a chair. Her tailbone has been really sore so I'm sure a change of any kind is nice. She might even get to take a wheel chair ride outside later today. I've thought about how much she loves to be outside and how wonderful it will be for her to breath fresh air and feel the sunshine again. That's good medicine for the mind!
We all went to bed concerned last night but when you ask for help with faith, and ask others to do the same, great things happen. Thank you all!
We are so happy that Elaine is out of ICU. We will keep praying.
